The Blackhawks hold the No. 17 pick in the first round Tuesday night, and six more picks in the other rounds Wednesday.

The Blackhawks will add another handful of prospects to their pipeline this week during the 2020 NHL Draft.

Four months delayed and now all virtual, the draft begins with the first round Tuesday starting at 6 p.m. CT. The second through seventh rounds will take place Wednesday starting at 10:30 a.m. CT.

The Blackhawks hold seven selections over the course of the draft: No. 17, No. 46, No. 76 or 81, No. 79, No. 110, No. 141 and No. 172. That equates to two third-round picks, zero seventh-round picks and one pick in every other round.

Trades are also a very real possibility, with Hawks general manager Stan Bowman breaking that dam by dealing Olli Maatta to the Kings over the weekend. It’s likely he makes at least one more trade over the course of the draft, even if it turns out to only be a pick-for-pick swap.
