These were truly meals with meaning.

Families enjoyed the first “Dinner on Us” program at Los Toros Mexican Restaurant in Chatsworth this week.

Los Angeles City Councilmember John Lee and The Change Reaction co-sponsor the program, which provides a dinner out to show appreciation to first responders, essential workers and other Los Angeles residents who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to serve communities throughout the pandemic.

The program also serves up meals to Twelfth District families experiencing food insecurity as a result of COVID-19.
