Duke enters Monday on its worst stretch of the season, having lost three of its past four. The team that began this slide is N.C. State, and the Blue Devils will look for revenge.
When the teams squared off Feb. 19, Duke shot 10 of 22 from the free-throw line while N.C. State made eight of its 13 3-point shots.
Both stats should see regression as N.C. State shoots, as a collective, 32 percent from 3-point range for the season and Duke 70.6 percent from the line.
Duke will want to play at a similar tempo to the 88-66 contest these teams played the first time around as they are 20th in the country in possessions per game. Despite its fast pace, Duke is also 12th in the country in fewest points allowed on a per-possession basis.
N.C. State has been consistent on defense, allowing between 66 and 74 points in six of its past seven games. With Duke being 20-9 to the Over this season, its totals have ticked up, and with N.C. State having success shutting down the Blue Devils just two weeks ago, it should lead to an Under.
The play: N.C. State-Duke, Under 151 points.
