The Jets have made some nice, under-the-radar signings to address their biggest need, the offensive line. Brian Costello and I bring you a new episode of the “Gang’s All Here” podcast to break down the moves the Jets have made thus far in free agency.

We start by discussing initial frustrations by Jets fans before Joe Douglas reeled in offensive tackle George Fant, which was followed by the crucial signing of center Connor McGovern. Coz breaks down the two key additions to the O-line, as well as the re-signing of Alex Lewis. What does the starting O-line look like right now? We also talk about the affordable re-signing of cornerback Brian Poole, which Coz believes was a steal for just $5 million. What kind of money would the Jets spend on Robby Anderson? What else does Douglas need to do in free agency? How much more money is left to spend?

We also talk about Tom Brady going to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and how odd it will be watching him on another team. Is the Patriots’ reign over? Does this make the AFC East a lot more interesting? Can Brady have success in Tampa? There are a lot of layers to address when thinking about the GOAT going to a different team, division and conference.

Longtime NY Post sports columnist Mike Vaccaro then drops by the pod. The 2019 NY sportswriter of the year talks about the patient approach Douglas has taken in his first full offseason as Jets GM. He also examines what other needs the Jets still have, which includes edge rusher. Vac also talks about Anderson not signing anywhere yet and what that could mean for him. He also talks about Brady’s departure from the Patriots, what it means for the division and other sports greats who left teams they were with, ending their careers in bizarre locations and uniforms.
