Tom Brady is embracing his move to Florida and the comical series of events that followed.
The six-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback recently moved to Florida after signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and somehow already caused a stir despite not having taken the field yet.
While working out last week, Brady was booted from a closed Tampa park by a city employee for violating the state’s stay-at-home order due to the coronavirus. He then inadvertently walked into the wrong home days later while trying to meet with Buccaneers offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich — a move that drew some ire around the NFL.
“I’m so happy to be in Tampa Bay and I wanted to say thank you guys for welcoming me and my family into your community with open arms,” Brady said in a video posted to the Buccaneers’ Twitter account Sunday. “Outside of getting kicked out of a park the other day, I’m so excited to be a Buc.”
