The NFL Draft will benefit more than your favorite team.
As part of the mammoth three-day showcase kicking off Thursday, the NFL is hosting a “Draft-A-Thon” in order to raise funds for COVID-19 relief efforts. You can watch it in the video player featured above.
The Draft-A-Thon will also be on NFL social and digital platforms, as well as in the league’s traditional TV broadcasts on ABC, ESPN and NFL Network. The event is hosted by Rich Eisen and Deion Sanders and features numerous celebrities, including comedian Kevin Hart and musicians Quavo and Kane Brown.
Contributions will be directed to six national nonprofit organizations, who are helping to fight the novel coronavirus, with local branches of the league’s 32 teams receiving a portion of the funding. To date, the NFL has helped raise more than $50 million in this effort.
